Got up late, so I missed the seasonal fruits -- got pink lady apples, green onions, a batard of white bread, red bell pepper quark, a container tomato plant, a Pardron hot pepper plant, several herb plants -- bronze fennel, Cuban oregano, salad burnet (taste likes cucumber, apparently!), Texas tarragon -- and several ornamental flowers -- two calendulas and a Tasmanian violet. I already have snapdragons, marigolds, a Labrador violet, and what I think is a Johnny-Jump-Up, but I want a bit more color on my patio.

I bought another longbox this weekend, and will probably transplant the pea seedlings this week. I'm going to try to start more Zinger hibiscus and more alpine strawberries in those starter pots after I transplant the peas.

Your Johnny Jump-Up isn't the same plant I know by that name, but it's pretty. And yes, salad burnet tastes like cucumber.
