Farmer's Market -- 7 Aug 11

Batard of white bread, chicken empanada, quark, sweet pepper, bell pepper, two plum tomatoes, donut peaches (a green variety, that is a wonderful balance between the sweetness ofwhite peaches and the flavor of yellow peaches), honey peaches (for baking), nectarines, blackberries, and bison chipsteak to cook with the leftover mole verde from yesterday.

Also, my fever broke sometime in the night, so I'm sniffly and unhappy, but not nearly as congested as last night.

Sorry to learn you have been ill? Did you have to take off time from work?

I took off Friday, which is just as well. I spent 2/3rds of the weekend asleep, but I'm feeling much better now. The worst of it was Saturday night, and when I woke up on Sunday the difference was noticable.
