WTF? Post office!

The post office is closed -- I'm not going to mail my packages today, which is annoying. Admittedly, the snow is over my ankles (yeah for Smartwool ski socks and Dr. Marten shoes), still coming, and has been declared a blizzard by the National Weather Service.

But this means that I'm probably not going to get them sent until Thursday, so they'll arrive late. :(

So you actually went out to try to mail your packages. Can you get to a post office that has an automated machine where you weigh the package on a scale, put in the destination code and it spits out a postage sticker. You have to use a credit card (maybe a debit card will work also). Is your heat still on? Are you going to make soup and then knit like crazy? Maybe you can get that white wool sweater finished. Take care and stay in.

I could barely get up to the corner to my post office. The snow is *over* the lower rung of the railing on my patio (which means 12+ inches) and it's STILL snowing!

I'm drinking hibiscus tea and working on my lesson plans for my sock-knitting class today. I might work on the second pair of socks for Alex (the sparkly ones).
