Oooh, that's intriguing.

An issue of Spin-Off I picked up way back in the day, almost 8 years ago now, had sideways-knit garter stitch gloves. Even though I dropped spinning again for several years, I always kept that issue because of that pattern. Now that I spin and knit a lot better than I used to, it's a tempting project.

I know what issue you're talking about. It shouldn't be a hard pattern to knit, but I was never that interested.

I am looking at modifying the sewing pattern for a better fit for me -- I somewhat mismatched hands, and commercial gloves tend to fit poorly.

It does look like the gloves might be uncomfortably/impractically thick. I think these days I'm more interested in "traditional" gloves, even though they'd be more challenging.
