I went to the orthopedist today, after they took x-rays, he said that while part of my fibula had knit back together with bone like it should, a portion of it had fibrous scar tissue instead. Because of where the fracture occurred, this will probably not be a problem, as long as my ability to function improves.
However, I should keep track on how I should keep track, and if my healing plateaus at a painful level or regresses, then I should return to the orthopedist and then we would make a decision on how to proceed.
So there is that, I guess.
