One of the pepper plants has a cowhornthat is almost ready to be picked. I might try making a small batch of New Mexican green salsa with it.

And one of the eggplants firnally has a bloom.

You gonna roast the pepper first? And is that a mild or spicy chile?

I have a gas range. I can sear the pepper, and chop it up for Santa Fe-style chili verde, which has two ingredients -- green chiles and pork.

Of course, it's probably a sweet pepper, and even if it's not, the chance of it being a New Mexico Green is really unlikely.
