Saturday -- boule of country white bread, apples, pears, ground lamb, lambcetta (lamb bacon), cauliflower, and cilantro.
Sunday -- cauliflower (orange and purple cultivars), farm butter, feta cheese.
There was no tumeric root this week, which was a great disappointment. If we get released early on Wednesday, I might try hitting the Penzey's to get ground tumeric that's fresher than what I have now.
ciann is getting an "Indian-spiced" vegetable main dish for Thanksgiving since she's vegetarian, and the rest of us are having roast chicken and roast pork, with some fabulous salads and sides by
ellen_fremedon, sodas, pies, and ice creams by me.
I just have to finish them -- the custard for a vanilla bean ice cream is cooling in the sink right now, and I should be able to churn tomorrow, and maybe bake the first of the pies (sweet potato with GF cookie crust -- I decided buying GF cookies was easier than trying to bake them).
