The Liege Sugar Waffle recipe from Everybody Eats Well in Belgium is very sticky -- not quite as annoying as pate choux for cheese puffs, but still -- so I hope it turns out well. The batter is sitting in my fridge right now, as I will be making the waffles tomorrow.
My sujuk rolls are going to be more of sujuk borek, as there were no sheets of puff pastry dough left, and they will have to be wrapped in phyllo dough because that's what I could get. I'm not going to try to make rough puff tonight -- I don't have enough energy for that.
