crafty_packratWent with fabrisse to the Freer today. It was nice to get out since the weather was great -- mild and sunny.
Afterwards, we had a late lunch at Teaism. There's a pop-up of Mastukawaya Roho, a Japanese-style sweet shop, at the Teaism Tea Shop at 400 8th Street, NW, and omg! So tasty!
And, while it was too warm for hot chocolate affogato from Pitango, black tea and cream gelato is a tasty combo.
Also -- my birthday is coming up, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is in town that week. The program on my birthday itself include a piece by Twyla Tharp -- I don't believe I've ever actually seen her choreography before.
Last, on Feb 10th, Carmina Burana is being performed in the piano reduction. I love it, and would probably bring a copy of the lyrics (with translations) if anyone else wanted to come?
