Farmer's Market -- 15 April 2012

crafty_packratApples, cabbage, batard of white bread, chicken empanda, cheese danish, cilantro, red bell pepper quark, sweet potatoes, cheddar cheese and plants -- Sweet & Neat dwarf tomato, Anaheim green pepper, Sweet Red bell pepper, dill, and cilantro.
Planted the last of the sweet peas I germinated, put seeds of Runaway roquette and Zinger hibiscus into pots -- it's still a bit too early for big tomatoes, but the dwarf I can bring in at night, and the peppers are hardier.
Boiling the chicken feet and bones I roasted last night. May make chicken taquitos and sweet potato taquitos later, using dried chiles instead of fresh ones.
I'm debating whether I should hold off on buying tomatoes until Maryland Sheep and Wool. Thorne Farm has always had fabulous selections, and I like buying from them. That said, anyone else planning on going to MS&W?
