Farmer's Market -- 1 April 2012

crafty_packrat2 lb bison stew cubes, batard of white bread, pink lady apples, chicken empanada, 2 lbs new potatoes, 1 lb roasting potatoes, flat and curly parsley plants,4 small swiss chard plants, and 2 celery plants.
I figure it's a minimal investment in the chard and celery plants (50ยข each) it couldn't hurt to try. I have been warned that the celery really need a lot of water and a lot of fertilizer, so I might go to the co-op and see if they have cow manure for sale. A small bag would be enough for my container garden, I'm sure.
Tonight, I'm making beef-and-barley stew, and propbably a cream-and-chives soup as well.
