Farmer's Market -- 01 January 2012
Jan. 1st, 2012 12:00 pmOnions, mint, batard of white bread, feta cheese, a dozen large eggs, pink lady and macintosh apples, bosc pears, NY strip bison steak, Yukon gold potatoes, cheese danish and chicken empanada.
I'm going to use the potatoes to make roast potatoes -- I made them yesterday with boiling potatoes, which were tasty, but I think the texture suffered. A NY strip steak grilled on my Lodge griddle/grill is extremely tasty, especially because the cast iron goes into the oven with no qualms to finish the cooking. I might make a small batch of cupcakes later.
