Farmer's market, September 12th

Pak choy, onions, carrots, garlic, pancetta, pork shoulder, apples, nectarines, plums, chili cheddar bread, bell pepper quark, cheese danish, empanada, and eggs.

I bought the pak choy because no one had celery, and I wanted to try a recipe out of my new cookbook for dutch ovens. The resulting stew is simmering now on my stove. I'll let you know how it turns out tomorrow.

Sounds as though you have lots of good food in your frig for the coming week. I guess I will have to seek out pancetta and quark. I wish I had had time when we were in Europe to go to a local market and see if I could find quark.
