Roast chestnuts
Oct. 26th, 2012 10:29 pmI just roasted some chestnuts using the soak in salt water and roast at 425F method detailed here. Except for a few bad ones, they turned out fantastic.
I had to put them in the fridge to stop me snacking on them -- given that it's hard on my fingernails to peel chestnuts, I want to save them for something. I'm thinking roast carrot and chestnut soup or chestnut ice cream (minus the Grand Marnier sauce).
