Missing: one rosebush

I got home today after another pretty bad day at work, and a fairly good chat with one of my neighbors at the dog park, to find someone had ripped out the one rosebush in the garden.

...

I suppose this saves me from contemplating if I should get a second rosebush for symmetry, but what? Who just takes a rosebush out of an apartment building's flowerbed...?
