Farmer's Market -- 24 July 2011
Jul. 24th, 2011 12:43 pmBoule of white bread, 2 lbs bison osso bucco, 1 bison marrowbone, 3/4 lb of chard, 1 large white onion, 4 honey peaches, nectarines, plums, cucumbers, 4 oz feta cheese, paper thin slices of proscuitto (to wrap figs in -- yum!), lemon balm plant, cheese danish and chicken empanada.
I am making Jidi Bel Zet, this time with actual shanks, White Bean Dip with homemade za'atar blend, Smashed Cucumber Salad and Red Chard Falafel for Wednesday's knitting group, and I'm going to try the Roast Marrow and Parsley Salad in there sometime too. Now, I need to soak the beans and roast the garlic.
