Drip Drip Drip...

So, I got home last night with no evidence (no note, that they're supposed to leave whenever they enter your apartment) from the maintenance guys.

Considering that I noticed visible cracks in the ceiling right above my bathtub, this is not good.

I'm rather unhappy with the work quality when it comes to repairs -- this is an emerging situation, though not yet an emergency. When my upstairs neighbor's pipes burst, that'll be an emergency.

I have achieved Duck

From the Saturday market, I've gotten a duck for Thursday. I'm planning on simply roasting it, and serving it with wild rice and corn fritters, mashed sweet potatoes, and maybe some squash. I'm not sure what I'm making for dessert -- it depends on if there are small pumpkins available tomorrow or not. If yes, I'll try the corn and apple pudding baked in pumpkin; if not, I'll make beet puffs.
