I really need to decide on a menu for Thanksgiving -- I'm leaning towards turkey basted with maple butter, winter salad (savoy cabbage, olives, beets, lemons and cucumber with a dressing pureed from capers, raisins, brown sugar and vinegar), squash with apples, an herb tart, mashed sweet potatoes, and maybe sweet beet in puff pastry, baked pumpkin with corn and apple pudding, or maple syrup pie for desert.
