Weavolution might be interesting, but at the moment, I can only look at it and compare it to Ravelry. It's not Ravelry -- and it's not yet a weaver's equivalent. I'm kind of doubting that the people behind it did enough research into social networking sites, why they work, and why they don't.
One thing that would improve functionality immediately, at least in my opinion, is a way to classify drafts by the number of shafts needed to weave it -- I don't want to waste time looking at 8-shaft patterns if all I have is a 4-shaft loom.
