I need a better hammer
May. 12th, 2009 09:02 pmI bought some flank steak on Sunday so I could try the Rolled Flank Steak with Blue Cheese Stuffing recipe. I didn't use actual blue cheese, but the scratch cheese from Keswick Creamery.
It's turned out pretty tasty, but I really need to get a proper mallet to pound steak flat. And maybe I should use skewers next time, because kitchen twine is kind of messy...( see? )
Yum. And I had more than enough stuffing to freeze half and make it again soon. After I get something to whack steak flat with.
