Had dinner with
fabrisse tonight at Fare Well Diner, which is just four blocks from Union Station on the H Street corridor.
The Impossible Burger was actually really good, though I think ours were slightly overcooked. The pierogies we had as an appetizer were excellent, as was the vegan sour cream, but the sauerkraut was bland; I think it needed caraway and didn't have it.
The deserts were excellent. Fabrisse had the nutella cake, and I had the lemon-ginger, which we both agreed was the better of the two, though they were both good. They should be, because the Fare Well is owned by the owners of Sticky Fingers Bakery.
I would definitely eat there again.
