Planting peppers

crafty_packratFinally got around to planting the hot peppers and sweet peppers in the hanging pots today, and another pair of tomatoes. Also, put a bleeding heart in the shaded flowerbed for the neighbor girls -- we'll see what they make of it. I caged two tomato bushes as well. Of course, it was 92F with a heat index that made it feel like 103F, so I only lasted about an hour in the garden.
Hopefully I'll clear out the rest of the grass and weeds by the weekend, and trim back the shrubs enough to put in the last tomatillo, the eggplants, and some of the remaining peppers. I also want to plant some cowpeas and melons.
