Farmer's Market 10 April 11

Garlic cheese curds, red bell pepper quark, batard of white bread, pink lady applies, and buffalo sausage.

The mushroom ladies were still there, but they raised the prices on a lot of varieties -- from $10 to $11 for the mixed box and so on. They did have extremely rare ones today, like morels, but the price jump is enough that I will be a lot less likely to buy any except the crimini and white buttons from now on.

How did the prices at farmers' market compare with those at co-op?

Generally a bit higher, but since they carry fresher mushrooms, and varieties that no-one else does (beech, honey, wood ear) they do pretty good business anyway.
