Farmer's Market -- 21 Aug 11
Blackberries, raspberries, cherry tomatoes, a pound of Anaheim greens (chili verde! yay! \o/ ), quart of milk, half pound of quark, one sweet red pepper, dozen large eggs, yellow nectarines, Duarte plums, zestar and ginger gold apples, cucumbers, cheese danish, and a chicken empanada.
I'm planning on making ice cream, and maybe Lightly Pickled Tomatoes from Everyday Harumi today. The chili verde waits until I can get 3 lbs of pork shoulder at a decent price -- probably next Saturday at the Silver Spring market -- of course, if I get it bone-in, I'll have to debone it myself and get a heavier piece to offset the bone weight, but it should be tasty anyway.
